How to review your brand name search results
A repeatable check a marketing team can run every quarter.
Search like a customer
Use a private window on desktop and mobile. Search your brand name alone, then with reviews, complaints, near me and your main product names. Save screenshots with the date.
Sort what you find
Mark each result as owned, earned, review platform, complaint, news or impersonation. Note anything inaccurate.
Fix what you control first
Update your own pages, store listings and social bios. Verify your knowledge panel if Google offers that option for your brand.
Report what breaks rules
Use each platform’s impersonation or trademark report for fake accounts and look-alike shops. Keep a log of what you filed and when.
